“Silent Room” is now available at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport
A “Silent Room” has been opened at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport to serve passengers with special needs who are sensitive to noise and crowds.
The Silent Room, implemented at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport operated by TAV Airports, offers a calm and safe environment for individuals diagnosed with autism, Down syndrome, or cerebral palsy, helping to reduce stress and sensory overload during travel. This dedicated space aims to provide a more comfortable pre-flight experience for passengers who may require additional support.

With the Silent Room, we aim to ensure that individuals with special needs feel comfortable and safe throughout their journey. We are committed to offering inclusive and accessible services to all our passengers.”
Located airside on the Departures level of the International Terminal, the Silent Room features comfortable seating areas, activity equipment, flight information screens, and a separate smaller room for individual use.
Passengers who wish to use the Silent Room are required to make a reservation before their flight, by calling +90 232 455 00 00 / extension 4505, or via email at adb.quietroom@tav.aero.
The area is designed to accommodate one companion per passenger with special needs and can serve up to six passengers at a time.
