İzmir Adnan Menderes and Milas-Bodrum Airports Qualify For Accessibility Certificate
İzmir Adnan Menderes and Milas-Bodrum airports, operated by TAV Airports, have qualified for the Accessibility Certificate following inspections carried out under the coordination of Türkiye's Ministry of Family and Social Services.
The inspections assessed terminal buildings, outdoor areas and shared passenger spaces in terms of physical accessibility, digital accessibility, communication and transportation. Various accessibility features were evaluated, including ramps, tactile paving, accessible restrooms, wayfinding systems, parking areas, digital interfaces and passenger information services.

The certification process for the Accessibility Certificate will be finalized by the respective governorates. İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport had previously received certification for its domestic and international terminals under the "Barrier-Free Airport" project led by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
